David Cripps opened
Westside Rods in 2001. Street rodding has been David's
hobby for over thirty years. At one time he worked for a
street rod shop, building, welding and doing general fabrication
work. He helps his friends along the way while building
cars for himself.
Westside Rods' goal
is to take the customer's ideas and turn them into a completed
project better than they had hoped or dreamed. Westside Rods is a retail service store
carrying parts from most of the major aftermarket suppliers.
Work performed at the shop ranges from the ground up to turnkey
or anywhere in between. If you are building a project and
need help with a few small items and then want to finish the
rest yourself, then Westside Rods is the shop you are looking
for. Westside Rods specializes in 1930 to 1950 Street
Rods, Mustangs, Tri Five Chevys, Nova, Camaros and Chevelles.
The work done in
shop ranges from all types of frame changes, from new to
updating an old frame, engine-transmission and rear-end
installation, rewiring, air-conditioning installations, steering
columns, gauges, power windows, keyless entry and many other
aspects of building a custom car. Bodywork, paint and
upholstery are contracted out to other shops that David chooses
or to a shop of the owner's choice. |
